Elvis's Great, Great, Great, Etc. Grandfather

This one was fun to draw but I admit the color was kind of rushed. I would consider this a rough color pass. I just don't have a lot of time to render these things out like I'd like. I did save the line art as a separate file in case I decide to do it up correctly later. Anyway, I enjoyed creating these characters, just hope it works as an overall gag. -Ted

  4. I don't know how I ended up with this one, but I had drawn quite a few versions of it before settling on it. Guess it was the closest one to making sense. I just had to make some kind of play on the Elvis is King thing.
It's strange how ideas can evolve sometimes...

Hey Belf, nice creepy clown avatar. I like.

  5. Great stuff. But, whats the girl with the glasses story?

  6. Are you interested in her?? :)
Oh, now that I look at it she does appear to have glasses. It's just her thick lashes that make it look like that. Good point, I'll revise her eyes. The only modern prop should be the electric guitar and amp.
Anyway, she's just there as a distraction for the jester who hasn't noticed that the king is approaching. Plus I just wanted to draw a sexy woman ha ha.
    Thanks for the input.

  7. hehehe i really like this one. The gag is funny but the drawings themselves are funny too.

i noticed the jester's eyes are at boobie level to sexy girl. maybe play on that and have his eyes open. hence, he doesn't notice the King, hence he was not playing the appropriate music.

Thanks for your comics that make me laugh! :D
