Movie Night!

I went to the movies last night. It was fun! The audience in the theater was intelligent and respectful of others by keeping their conversation interesting DURING the movie, and letting us all see how beautiful their smartphones look in the dark. There were only 13 commercials shown. We paid just $15.50 each for what turned out to be a screening with extreme high-volume sound effects! Neat! The sub-par, grainy picture quality was an experience to behold. I can't WAIT to go again!

This is how to stay positive using sarcasm, folks.

  1. At first, I was like,"Oh, ok" and then I was like " Oh, I get it" and finally I was like "oh...haha." but you didn't say what movie you watched?

  6. What a coincidence! Always when I experience this, I think to myself, planet of apes... and now it really was!

Thank you, especially because you have found something that happens daily and I would bet, no one has ever illustrated it.

  12. echo Janet... this is the way things are going! I went coffee shop sketching with a friend and we drew a lot of people poking at their phones. Two friends were enjoying a beautiful day of ignoring each other by poking at their phones at a patio at Starbucks. I feel so left out! Anyway, this was a very clever comic. I enjoyed it!

  13. Yes, we're definitely headed in this direction. I can see it right now; people watching movies on their phones while at the movies!

  16. Haha I love the one ipad (or nook?) and the guy with his phone on his knee. He's not using it yet, but who knows maybe during a key scene he'll need to tweet about it immediately.
