Silence, Please!

I wonder, do they really have card-stacking competitions? Would you have to take your shoes off and talk in a whisper like they do during televised golf? Would it be okay to laugh out loud when someone's card stack comes crashing down? Or would that be forbidden. I only start to think about things like this AFTER I finish my cartoon ideas.

  2. Hah, it could be a satirical political statement about our TSA or Dept Homeland Security.

  3. HA! Uh.....okay, who put THAT guy on door duty?

I think one would have to wear those surgeon masks to get in. Taking off my shoes and giving you a mighty golf clap, Ted!

  4. This is an excellent idea! After the unbelievably car of the Clown Cruisers, I was wondering if you can turn down the volume of your clowns from 100 to Zero within one week. Yes you can :) Great face expressions, I would not believe these two anything they say.

  5. Brady Bunch showdown. Marcia HAD to wear that damn charm bracelet. I mean REALLY. I believe the prize was either the sewing machine or a canoe? :D

Very cute and well done cartoon. They do have great faces!

  7. Love this clown series..Reminds me of important tennis matches when everyone is quiet on a match point and just at the crucial moment when the serve ball has been thrown up in the air someone shouts "COME ONNNN!!!Raffa!!"which never seems to help at all..(even less when Raffa isn't playing).

  9. Haha, I trust they d really be quiet... but will their instruments be quiet as well?
Perhaps only mimes should be accepted in places like this...

  11. Never trust a clown, I say! Or anyone with a false nose for that matter... or bright fuzzy wig. Great illo and idea!

  12. OR, for that matter, DO NOT MOVE. The slightest puff of wind is sure to topple the crowd. Happened all the time when my sister and I laid out dominos in winding patterns through out the house. I want a hard wire to your brain most days...you come up with the most amazing and yet arcane ideas. Love the clowns, especially the winking, sadistic one.

  13. If I were Dr. Freud I'd guess that you're having to put up with a bunch of loud clowns these days. Or may that's just me projecting because I live next door to a bunch of frat bro's. Anyway I tremble for all those mild-mannered card-stackers!

Leah; I do put up with a bunch of loud clowns everyday, and have ever since I began my career in animation, but's that's a good thing! Especially since I'm one of them. ha ha.

Jennifer; you don't wan't to access my brain, believe me. I'm nuts! :)

Karen; thank you, and thanks for stopping by.

Rod; you make me laugh, as always.

  15. If they don't have this kind of competition, they definitely should! I'm sure it would be fun to watch (in fast forward mode) heh :) Great work!

  16. I held a book-stacking competition when I was in highschool.. it's the same as card-stacking but we use our schoolbooks instead. :P In the end people just tried to distract the competitors as much as they can.. it was crazy.

Great one as usual, Ted :D

  17. :-D I know i dont trust them. I think they do have something like this, i remember some competition where someone had to do it the fastest and with the most cards or something.... or maybe its the just the power of suggestion and your cartoon messing with my memory.

  18. I am in awe. Your brain must be constantly thinking up ideas. Do you ever perseverate on a theme? Hmn. I guess not! :)
