Sibling Rivalry Of The Deep.

Ollie and Orville Octopus were always going at it; mostly after Orville was found in Ollie's crevice-room messing with his shell collection, or Ollie found sitting in Orville's 'off-limits-to-Ollie' corral chair, or definitely when Orville was caught dunking Ollie's toothbrush in the toilet. It usually ended the same way, somebody running to Mamapus in tears, black ink everywhere. Oh the fun they had.

  8. Give him the ol' sucker punch!

Hahahaha! Aaaah, good times. My sister and I actually refused to acknowledge each other's presence throughout our teenage years.

  9. Great illustration, great colors. Is that big brother or big sister? Whatever, you can see the attitude in the face. The little fish in the background has got to be the little guys friend waiting till the "bully" is done . . .

  10. Oh God, this shoots me right back to childhood. I was the oldest but a rather frail kid & my year-younger brother was a sturdy lad who took judo, so I was essentially doomed. If I tried to fight back with my only physical advantage (longer fingernails) he would immediately tell on me & I'd get in trouble for not fighting fair! Ah, the joys of youth.

The strange thing is, I dearly love said brother. We are extremely close to this day. I am happy to report that he no longer hits & I no longer scratch! There is still black ink everywhere in my house though. ;-)

  11. Hehehe. I never had sibling rivalry. I grew up the seventh of eight children and I adored my brothers and sisters, I was just so proud of them but I teased my younger sister a lot though I was her ardent protector when we went outside our home. So I don't really know what sibling rivalry is like. I think that if it happened to my children it would break my heart.

  19. Haha oh the poor lil octopus being bullied by his sibling. But I think my favorite is the passing fish who totally sees what's going on and is trying to avoid it!
