Are You In A Hurry?

Did you ever wonder where the tortoise and the hare ended up after that famous race?                        Well, now you know.

  1. haha...That's the kind of decisions I don't want to make, specially if I'm really hungry.
    I like that restaurant's name!

  2. Great idea. This would have happened if Aesop had a producer who persuaded him to write a part II :-)

    1. Well, I thought of the tortoise and hare in a pizza shop gag, but my friend Ethan suggested Aesop's as the name. We brainstorm a lot during lunches, which always helps me fine tune my humor. Thanks, Rod.

  7. I suppose it all depends on your stance on cold pizza!
Also I'd be a bit concerned about the health code in Aesop's place... I suspect there may be cigarette ashes in the sauce at the very least...

These fellows are all so wonderfully scruffy. I'd love to see you do a whole series on Aesop, Act II!

    1. I worked at a pizza place when I was in college that was as disgusting as this depiction. Cockroaches all over everything, guess I was remembering that when I drew it.

I WANT to do more Aesops Act II themes, and I will. Thanks, Leah.

  13. Heheheheh! I don't know. I think I will take my chance on the hare. I will definitely be so impatient with the turtle. They better hire someone in between. You just keep getting better for sure! Sorry about your termites. We have them here too.
