MonsterFink!

Here's a fun piece I did for the "MonsterFink" show being held at Creature Features store this Aug. 30th right here in Burbank. This pen and ink drawing is my tribute to Paul Blaisdell, B-Movie monster-maker of the fifties. The movie "Day the World Ended" was made in 1955 and featured Mr. Blaisdell himself wearing his monster costume. He also created monsters for the movies "Invasion of the Saucermen", "IT the Terror From Beyond Space" (which is the original Alien story), "It Conquered the World", and "The She-Creature".

  2. Very Cool! I still have the Rat-Fink car and driver you "refurbished" for me years ago. Would be really neat to attend the reception. Nice job Ted!

    1. Mr. Gasser! One of my favorite kits and the first one you got in '64? Or did you get Super Fuzz first? Another great kit.

  5. Oh goodness, the monster is awesome. But then I see his rat friend trying to keep up and I bust out laughing! That's hysterical! Glad to see you again, Mr. B!
